- We actually hand select steel tubing to assure its quality and finish. Our tubing stands alone in the industry for its thicker walls, and we tailor the dimensions to your boat’s size and load.
Our welders control the heat settings to suit each weld, a technique acquired through experience that eliminates distortion.
More than half of you will ding your fender during your boat’s lifetime. That’s why we bolt on our fenders — no need to tear your trailer apart to replace one.
By bolting fenders on, we can primer between the fender and the step — avoiding rust drips you’ll see on trailers using welded fenders.
Our prep process includes washing every trailer with a phosphate etching acid that rinses oil and grease. That inhibits rust, resists corrosion, and creates maximum possible absorption for the primer — insuring the highest quality, high-gloss paint finish. That’s an Extreme trademark.
Nobody beats our paint work, and to make sure, we sand, prime, sand again, and spot with a filler primer. The industry’s best painters operate in a full enclosed, climate controlled, dust free paint booths — every trailer is finished in a high-gloss polyurethane that resists chipping and fading.
We wait until after painting to begin assembly, assuring a more precise fit and perfect appearance. It takes longer, but the clean, custom look is worth it.
