Carlisle Tire & Wheel Company (Carlisle) warrants, subject to the terms, conditions and limitations stated herein, tires to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Carlisle’s liability for tires shall be limited to replacement of any defective tire plus any applicable taxes as further stated below.
CARLISLE’S LIMITED WARRANTY
Carlisle Tire & Wheel Company (Carlisle) hereby warrants that every new Radial Trail, Ultra Sport Radial, Ultra CRT, USA Trail, and Sport Trail tire bearing a complete description as required by DOT is free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the original tread of a new tire and the life of the original usable tread ends when the fire tread has been worn beyond 3/32”, at which point the tire is considered to be fully worn out. This warranty’s conditions and policies supercede any previous warranty. Conditions and coverage’s are subject to change at any time and without notice. This warranty applies to tires manufactured after January 2005. Tires manufactured prior to that date are covered by existing two-year warranty.
*1st YEAR 100% REPLACEMENT WARRANTY
If a defect in workmanship and materials is found in any Radial Trail, Ultra Sport Radial, Ultra CRT, USA Trail, and Sport Trail tire within the first year from date of purchase, the covered tire will be replaced plus the cost of mounting and balancing and taxes.
1. Road hazards are included.
2. The defective tire will be replaced with a comparable new tire by an authorized dealer.
3. 100% replacement applies to the new first quality tires only. Blemished tires and retread tires are specifically excluded.
2nd YEAR REPLACEMENT WARRANTY
If a defect in workmanship and materials is found in any Radial Trail, Ultra Sport Radial, Ultra CRT, USA Trail, and Sport Trail tire within the second year from date of purchase, Carlisle will replace with a comparable new tire if the tire is not worn beyond 3/32” of usable tread.
1. Costs of mounting and balancing are not included.
2. 2nd year replacement applies to new first quality tires only. Blemished, retreaded and repaired tires are specifically excluded.
EXCLUSIONS*
1. The warranty is void if the tire is lost and/or not provided for inspection.
2. The warranty is void if the tire fails due to damage from improper inflation pressures, exceeding the maximum speed limit, or overloading the tire beyond the maximum load capacity stated on the sidewall.
3. The warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, lost time, inconvenience, loss of vehicle use, cost of towing and transportation, related property damage or consequential damage of any type or nature.
4. The Warranty does not cover balancing charges after the first year.
5. The warranty is void if a covered tire is worn past last 3/32nds of tread depth at any point on the tread contact surface.
6. The warranty does not apply to the following:
a. Repaired tires
b. Tires used in racing and competition
c. Tires subjected to overloading, under-inflation, improper mounting, and fitment to incurred rim, purposeful abuse or chemical contamination.
d. Tires that have been patched plugged or repaired or into which liquid balancers or sealants have been introduced.
e. Cosmetic irregularities.
7. Carlisle makes no expressed claims of expected tire wear. Variables that affect tire wear are driving conditions, load and tire inflation pressure. To obtain warranty adjustments or warranty information contact your Carlisle dealer or call Carlisle s ’Product Service Department at 1-800-260-7959 or fax to 1-800-352-0075. Claims must be made within 30 days of discovery or irregularity. Carlisle reserves the right to inspect all products before making any adjustments.
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPUIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITRY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF. CARLISLE SHALL NOT
BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. NO REPRESENTATIVE OF CARLISLE TIRE & WHEEL COMPANY HAS AUTHORITY TO MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR PROMISES EXCEPT STATED HEREIN.
Some states do not permit limitations on the period of time an implied warranty lasts and do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply. This warranty provides specific legal rights. Other rights may vary from state/province.
