A: All of our trailers with brakes require DOT 3 brake fluid.
Q: Why do my trailer brakes lock up when backing it up?
A: Check for: 1. Is the light/electrical cord plugged all the way in at the receptacle? 2. Check the fuse in your tow vehicle for “Trailer Reverse” or “Trailer Back up” to make sure it is installed and in working condition.
Q: My brakes don’t seem to be working. What should I do?
A: Check brake fluid reservoir located at the tongue of the trailer to make sure the reservoir has DOT 3 brake fluid in it.
